Parents, tonight you will be receiving information and a permission form to be signed and returned tomorrow about our mandatory Gr. 3 Swim-to-Survive Life Saving Program. Please feel free to explore the website indicated on the form to answer any and all of your questions. I attached the video below as well ...

These skills are life saving and therefore very important for your child to know. There is no need to be worried about swimming in a pool. Lifeguards will assess your child during the first lesson to see if they require a life preserver or not. If your child is ABLE to swim, I would encourage them NOT to request a life preserver. If you are given one on Day 1, you must wear it for the following 2 swim dates as well.
I will be informing students all about this program today and tomorrow with videos and Q&A period to satisfy any concerns or questions students might have. This is actually a very fun and exciting 3 experience to the Windsor Aquatic Centre and I am SURE your child will be glad they were a part of it!
Attendance is mandatory. Buses will leave St. Chris promptly at 11:55. If you usually have your child come home for lunch, please remember to send them with a lunch on these dates: May 1, 8th, and 15th.
Parents are welcome to attend if they are able to provide their own transportation to and from the Aquatic Centre. Students are to travel WITH THE CLASS ON THE BUS.
