Well, it's been a very busy day... I am sorry to say that I will not be giving the language quiz this week. We are far too busy in our current Math work. I will have to try again when we come back from March break. I would like students to focus on Math, THRoW and WOW test for the week. To add the language quiz I feel would be too much.
Also, we have a Math test scheduled for tomorrow, but I also have many concerns about the number of errors that are still in students' books that should have been corrected. I used my Math review time today to allow students time to make some of those corrections, however, there are still some to be done tonight. Keep in mind, this week is crazy with rewards for our fundraising lottery. So, today was slipper day but some students forgot. They can wear slippers tomorrow. Tuesday is Crazy Hair Day, Wednesday is Electronics Day and Friday is Hat Day.
That being said, the best way to support me from home is to ensure your child is reviewing and making corrections each night when needed. I've explained to students that the responsibility fall on them to finish any incomplete work each day by taking home their needed duo tangs. I am already much further behind than I should be in Math. Any support would be greatly appreciated.Counsellor Wilson
