Hello Parents and Campers!

This week marks the FIRST WEEK of Advent!  The first candle was lit this past Sunday at mass on the Advent wreath.  It is a purple candle that represents HOPE.  During this time of waiting, we prepare our hearts and our minds for the coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ by being extra kind, patient and loving to others.  Giving to the hungry is one way our class family is going to try to give back to those who have not.  This Friday, our class is working hard to bring in canned goods and non-perishables for our walk to the mall this Friday for AM 800 Cans for a Cause!  All donations will go to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.   Our goal is to collect a total of 200 cans!  We CAN do it!  Thanks in advance, parents, for your contribution!

This week...

NO THRoW - I will be conferencing one-on-one with students on their letter to me from last week.  Next week, I'll send them a reply letter for one final letter back to me!  This is so much fun!  Make sure your child reads my letter first so that they will answer some of my questions in their next letter!

HOMEWORK:  Please check your child's agenda daily to see what homework needs to be completed for the next day.  This week only.
